Feathered visitor

Floated in off the wind

The winged one decides to rest his talons

Hanging off the outside guttering

On the roof of the house

A shelter from the Autumnal winds

Smaller birds wonder what’s the fuss

As he performs acrobatics

Holding on for dear life
