landed from some far away land

far from out in space

he wanted to experience life at a different sort of pace

he landed at the airport

created a kind of scene

they hadn’t seen someone at customs

quite that kind of green

after getting past the customs

he went off to the hills

experiencing the climbing

the wind the air the chills

and when he’d seen all that

he headed for the beach

and stuck his feet with all twelve toes

in the cool waters he could reach

drying off in a deckchair

having enjoyed his dips

he watched the waves roll into shore

with a box of fish and chips
