Take a pizza base

Make it nice and thick

Cover it in the richest tomatoes

You can lay your hands on

Red bell peppers and juicy onions

add meats of your choosing

Or even more veg

Throw in a little pesto if you wish

But don’t forget the cheese

Fold it up like a Cornish pastie

And let it catch a Neapolitan tan

Before cracking open it’s golden crust as

treasures are uncovered and steam released

Releasing the tasty fillings that lie inside
