Imagination

Think for a minute about a seed

a plain old seed

with nothing to say what it is.

You can dream of it growing

up high in the air

letting coloured birds roost in it

and flowers blue, yellow and red

become lunch for caterpillars fed

as they reside on the big leaves of green

hoping flying birds – they have not seen
