Investigating officers from Scotland Yard

never could fully understand the piece of paper lying in the open

safe. Was it written in some sort of cipher ? It could have been

composed by a small child, but what kind of kid knew how to

ratchet open a safe with three levered locks?

Understandably, they’d have to call in an expert.

Till then, they let the scenes of crime fellows

analyse the scene…piece by piece

By the end of the week – the puzzle was a

little clearer, but the loot and the villains had

Escaped across the sea – it would be a while till they were caught.
