Trace

The cheesecake didn’t last that long

its remnants lying on the bottom of the crystal glass tray

shortcake digestive and chocolate crumbs

combine with the faintest of pink swirls

created as the strawberry sauce

dripped down onto the glass

It’s always sad when the cheesecake is gone !
But I leave no evidence it was ever there, no crumbs, no sauce.. 😄

    1. Ditto, Pan. The prompt just brought memories of Me, a well known US based American restaurant in the UK, a really nice pasta dish and a rather delicious dessert! Glad you liked it!
