Oh my word!

#photography

Salford, 21st January

Regular readers know i set up this website to share my scribbles and the photos and events that go with them

well, whilst i’ve been setting up Son of Hex….i received an e-mail for my photography from those wonderful chaps at Viewbug.

you can take a look at my profile on there HERE

Might have been the scene i took the other day that inspired the award, it was snowing at the time

Not enough for a snowman though 🙂

Comfort

#fowc #comfort

Cold weather isn’t nice to be out in, so

on winter days, you’ll find me wrapped up with a

mug of warm hot chocolate in my paws and

furry slippers on my feet – while

outside its snowing and blowing a gale – i’m

reading a book inside, looking out of the window now and then

toasty and warm, away from the cold

Snowing

#Weather #Lockdown #Poetry

The idea : imagine it snows constantly for 30 years – and then it stops…..

Strange….the snowflakes aren’t falling today

no more than a mouse has come

out to the house

where i live

Mum and dad are at our kid’s

so i’m sat under a rug

watching BBC News

all nice and snug

Wireless classics from out on the stage

and comedy recordings for a digital age

kept me occupied and going

off the page

But its starting to melt,

the snow and the ice

with the thermometer rising

its feeling quite nice

Need a shovel – not a boat

but i’ll be wearing my big coat

as to the shop i go

dressed like an eskimo
