Each piece carefully crafted
laid out and fixed into place
creating a picture for the eye
sometimes you have to take a step back
but as you do the pieces of the jigsaw come in
sharp in focus

Unusually for a Boxing day, he’d completed the thousand piece jigsaw –
Zany thing was – after he’d finished (he had that was clear) there was
Zero room for what he definitively labelled as “The Last piece”
Looking around the peripheries of the picture
Expecting to find a hole for this missing part
Dumbfounded ? Definately
Symphony
Acrostic, Music, Pleasures, PoetryStart of the music is simple enough
Years of orchestration begins with the lead musicians
Mostly its percussion – but violins can be heard
Piano chords blend in to the melody as
Harp strings are gently plucked
Oboes bassoons and flutes add character unique to the piece
Notes followed by famous artistes, composed by late but great masters
Yards of notes, combining to produce a most magnificent piece to listen to
