Fixed moment in time…

relayed in glass

and mounted proudly on the wall

might be an artwork, a certificate or a photo, but it’s something

everyone will enjoy looking at

“Vintage”

#Challenge30 #old #Priceless

Art deco box – “Vintage”

You can put a value on anything

but to most people family heirlooms are priceless

Things handed down belonging to a loved one that’s passed

Items with stories, tales and memories

Character ? certainly Age ? Definately

Its not the age of the item – its the story it tells

even if it can’t speak – it’s timeless quality speaks for it

Colours

Black

Black

Colour of night

Dark, but cool at the same time

Where would all the sun loving dudes be

Without their darkened shades

Without it

Words would be sad

With only blue to communicate

Red is angry, green so envious

Lines are clear

The pages succinct

And penguins and zebras

Can be drawn, in relief

Going to the game

Longing to see the team at

Old Trafford – but left on the Salford side of the canal

View of the Stadium assured but

Expectations dashed – no sign of the game

Someone’s left him by the waters edge.
