I had to think about this particular challenge
I mean…. what kind of bench?
One on a path in a park ?
Or Perhaps one by the water?
eventually I took the decision to do both, both were taken in areas of my hometown, the first was taken with my Nikon in the green surroundings of the local park in Ordsall, in Salford, whilst the second saw me cross the Trafford Road, into Salford Quays.
The colour seeped out of the image
as the dial on the camera was turned
in seconds, pastel colours turned into shades of grey
as the metallic silver objects shined

Gremlin n. a cause of unexplained malfunction
ever get one of those days when nothing goes right ?
Thursday evening – and i’m going through the snaps i took with the D3100 the other day.
Now take a look, this is how my dear computer judges what my camera thinks my outside lawn looks like. It could be it was fooled by the Manchester weather, and in its defence it was throwing down stairrods when i took the pic. But then again, i have been confined to the house the last few days – thanks to a bug i picked up (don’t worry – the cold remedy has worked)
Now before it throws another strop – here’s evidence for the prosecution – it worked perfectly well when i was doing my black and white shots in the kitchen.
and it liked the pics of the spoons
It even liked the black and white shot i took of the Coffee, Sugar and Tea Jugs
So i’m starting to think – my poor old camera has caught a cold (sic)
Or that the gremlin that lives on my computer (hereby known as the update wizard) has attacked my computers ability to work out colour!
A Simple leaf , on the tarmac and gravel of the car park of #BASIC, the brain and spinal injury centre in Salford.
Fallen by the wind, or the passing of time with the coming of autumn, this humble leaf gave me another chance to create something special.
Been messing around with the monochrome as i continue in the quest to master my new camera. i like this image because of the silvery veins came popping out – all from the press of a button of my new camera.
