Do you know who did it ?

Even as you look around the house for clues

The person or persons behind the act are

Eating the evidence!

Crumbs of chocolate covered cookies

Tumbled to the ground , travel

In a trail – leading to some

Very crafty little individuals

Expect some repentance at the tea time table!

The Note

Inscrutable

Salford 31st January 2018

Investigating officers from Scotland Yard

never could fully understand the piece of paper lying in the open

safe. Was it written in some sort of cipher ? It could have been

composed by a small child, but what kind of kid knew how to

ratchet open a safe with three levered locks?

Understandably, they’d have to call in an expert.

Till then, they let the scenes of crime fellows

analyse the scene…piece by piece

By the end of the week – the puzzle was a

little clearer, but the loot and the villains had

Escaped across the sea – it would be a while till they were caught.

Inkling

Inkling

Ideas dropped on a page

notes dropped in a particular order

keeping the reader of the piece engaged

like clues for the detective resident in your mind

interacting – but not giving you the whole scenario

next guesses are down to you – It’s

going to be a scintillating read, as you go through the twists and turns

Lieutenant (or inspector ?) sits on the corner

of Trafford and Regent Road

looking out for

local hoods

its possible – he could have had a sugar rush

playing around with his favourite sweet

on occasion making eyes with the

popular girls walking by – “who loves ya baby?”
