Crossroads

Coming to a big decision is

Really down to you

Of course, you have the choices laid out for you

Smorgasbord of things to do , and places to go

Some helpful advice from teachers, academics and of course, family

Reactions from friends – expected – they might be sad but

Over time – they’ll respect your decision

After you’ve weighed up all the advice

Dont panic – and

Somehow you’ll go down the right path

Disappointment

Acrostic, Inspiration, Learning, Life, Schooldays

Disappointment

Dejection

in the content of the

students envelope

as predicted grades vs

positive results hadn’t panned out as they thought

on the whole though – they didn’t fail

If they head for the the sixth-form – they’ll probably pass

Next time.  dreams of higher things will have to wait

Till next time

Maybe a new opportunity will show itself

Even a subject they really wanted to take – and the

New opportunity might provide avenues

That they never thought of studying.

Silence

books, Poetry, Schooldays

silence

In the dusty old
Deserted library hall
The wishes of the librarian
Have finally come to fruition

For there is nobody reading
By the library desks
They’re all in the I.t. Suite
Reading set texts on the web

So librarian has his wish
And the books sit on wooden shelves
Like revered benedictines
Sat in lines in silence.
