Summer Break

Sitting in the garden

Playing with a ball

As Mum or dad

Call out – from beyond the hall

Excitement awaits – we’re off to the museums!

Down goes your head – you don’t want to see ’em

Of course, its not like you’re grateful – you’ve been there before

Up with your classmates – till gone half past four

The holidays are for fun – out in the fresh air!

! You’ll be going somewhere sunny soon – but you don’t care! !

Education : A Found Poem

Education has produced a vast population

They spend twelve months

teaching children to walk and then talk

and the next twelve years

teaching them to sit down and shut up

when all you have to do

is teach them all to read

its a source of amusement and fun

to happy little minds
